Just a thought on a rainy Sunday!

3rd of November 2019

When I think about my friends I feel happy.

Friends are precious and they don´t disappear. They stay and become stronger if I nourish the connection. Its all up to me, so to speak.

Sometimes we loose connection for a while but then we connect again like there was no pause. That is what true friendship is all about.

I have a tendency to let people use me. I believe people are my friends and they might just be using my good will. That happens and then there is just one step to take. Close the connection. Leave the group or whatever it is you are part of. Life is too precious to waste it on people users.

If the family does not appreciate you and you don´t appreciate them, what do you do?

The same as with friends.

You ignore them.

There are many families that don´t get along and that is normal. In every family there are different individuals with different opinions and different lives.

If you are a parent the society often demands that you are a parent above anything else. Is that fair? No, I don´t think so. My mother was a wise woman. She said to me that when we grow up we take care of ourselves. We correct the mistakes that have been made in our upbringing, if there are some. We become independent and we take responsibility for our actions. We don´t have to blame the bad parents for our misfortunes.  We are our fortunes makers and no one can take that responsibility from us.

There are no perfect parents.

There are no bad parents.

There are just different people, and a parent is just a person with cons and pros.

Let us remember that if we don´t like our parents they are teaching us a precious lesson. A lesson we came to this world to learn. The parent did not chose you! You were the one who had the opportunity to make your chosen parents yours because you had a lesson to learn. Be grateful for your parents that took you in. They sacrificed a lot for you but you may have forgotten.

You may just remember the bad and difficult. Try to remember there were also many good times. Remember the love and forget the hate. If you can do that then your live with your children will be different. Simple but true.

If you don´t like your birth family make your own. Make friends and they will become your family.

In the end it is all up to you and me, it is up to us to take responsibility for every new day and make the most of it to make our lives better and leave those we don´t like alone.

I am happy with my live and my choices. I always did my best one day at a time. I am grateful for the lesson my parents gave me. I am grateful to them for making me arrive in this world. Gratitude is a good feeling. Gratitude and remembering the good and learning from the bad is the lesson of this earths teaching.

I tend to repeat my mistakes until I have learned the lesson I am supposed to learn.

I have my independence and am grateful for that every morning I wake up. No one can take that away from me if I don´t want it to be taken away.

Responsibility for my own happiness is an everyday task.

My happiness comes from inside me, it does not come from other people, neither family or friends.

I appreciate all my friends. They don´t let me down even though I sometimes have to let them down to stop me being used.

Life is good.
