Portuguese SAGAS – Patience is the challenge

26th of April 2018

Good morning.

A beautiful day here in Penela with sunshine and it is getting warmer but of course it wont last forever. Tomorrow is cold again.

Reenergizing is important for me.

In few days I will go north and spend a month there. A whole month in the beauty of nature and peace and quiet. What more can I wish for?

I will of course use this month for working. I am translating my book into English, the one about my life in China, which I miss dearly.

I have a plan and that feels good.

I need a plan.

Now, these days I am practising patience. Patience is the word of the day for me.

Sometimes it makes me wanting to shake the system or maybe the culture.

I need some things to be done. I have no power to speed them up. My plan is ready but the first step is still in process.

Sometimes it is raining and then nothing can be done.

Sometimes it is too cold and nothing can be done.

Sometimes it is too hot and nothing can be done.

Sometimes something else is happening and nothing can be done.

There is a holiday.

I could go on and on, but I have to say to myself:

Patience is what you need!

Yes, I am patient, I have been waiting, I have been positive, I have been understanding and god know what else.

Now I am just letting go and hoping something will MOVE.

Of course I am in South Europe and the clock ticks differently than in the north, or does it?

At least I got a good training while living in China where tomorrow meant the future. Perhaps it is the same here in my little land. Perhaps the siesta lasts longer than I thought it would.

Who knows?

At least I will put my stuff in my car and head north and spend a wonderful month surrounded by friends and nature. 5 more days, and off I am.

Life is wonderful, don´t you think?

You just have to live it alive.
